1 diced Onion
500g of Beef Mince
1 sliced Mushroom
1 can of Chopped Tomatoes
1 crushed Garlic Clove
Lasagna Sheets
1 tablespoon of Tomato Puree
Grated Cheese
1 grated Carrot
1 tablespoon of Plain Flour
1 tablespoon of melted Butter
1 beaten Egg
1 1/2 cups Milk
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180˚C. Fry the onion, garlic and mushroom until browned and add the mince. Stir until this is brown before adding the tomato puree and carrot. Add the water and leave this to simmer. Whilst cooking mix the butter and flour and start adding small amounts of milk until a smooth mixture is formed. Add the egg and cheese (around half a cup) and place in a microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and stir, place back in and continue to do this until the sauce is fairly thick. Once the mince mixture is cooked and sauce ready put a layer of lasagna sheets on the bottom of a greased casserole dish and place some mince mixture on top, then another layer of lasagna sheets and more mince until you have used all of your mixture. Top this with a final layer of lasagna sheets and add the sauce on top of this. Sprinkle a thin layer of cheese all over and place in the oven until the cheese is golden.
